Chance Hardy - I was literally born in to the window business. My father had been a glazier since his early twenties and I remember many days of helping dad out before I was 10. I began my glaziers apprenticeship when I was 19 and was a Journeyman glazier by age 24.

I worked for Giroux Glass in Los Angeles, Ca. for 9 years. While at Giroux Glass I worked on many high profile projects such as The Getty Museum, Staples Center, Rolex Building, United Airlines LAX Terminal, St. Francis Medical Center, Cedar Sinai Hospital, and Disney’s California Adventure Theme Park. I have been married for 12 years to my wife Kim and have two beautiful children Kailee and Jake. I think I have assembled one the greatest window teams in the business. We can handle it all from one window to a whole house to a whole community of windows and doors. I hope you enjoy the professionalism and eagerness of my staff to help you through your window or commercial projects.

Gary Prahl (Co-Owner, Sales Manager) - I have been with Hardy Windows since 2000. I followed in my fathers footsteps at age 19 getting into the glazing industry. Getting my start at a commercial glass company, Giroux Glass, I worked hard and learned the ropes

from some of the best glaziers around, including my father and Mr. Chance Hardy. I helped construct some high profile buildings such as The Getty Museum, The Staples Center, Disney’s Parking Structure, and The ESPN Zone in Anaheim. As disappointed as I was when Mr. Hardy left Giroux Glass to expand the family business, I was equally as excited when he asked me shortly thereafter to join him and help to create something great. With the help, understanding, and encouragement of my truly awesome wife(Jenn) and 3 great kids(Heather, Hayden, and Kyndal), I have been a part of building one of the best window companies around. Taking great pride in our customer service and high quality products and installations at fair and honest pricing, we look forward to serving you.

During the past 2 years it has been exciting for Jenny to be able work closely with the Hardy’s to originate, organize, and execute numerous projects that have set the bar for the Hardy Window Company today. As the office manager, Jenny is excited and thrilled to be apart of the Hardy Window Company as it is continues to grow and expand.

I also do billing for our contractor accounts and also do collections on accounts. I look forward to each day as I learn the details of becoming a window expert.

I have worked on many high profile jobs in my tenure, just to name a few, JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories) The Getty Museum, Hollywood Bowl, and the 801 Tower. When Chance and Gary called me to come on board I was thrilled, as I know they strive to be the best at what they do with everything. My style is to help our customers make the right decisions for their projects. I never push a product on a customer and I always help the customer make the right decision for their project. You will see that we use no high pressure sales tactics and everything is always in layman’s terms. We offer great products and the best prices in town, I love what I do and will continue to be the best I can be in the window business.

I work well with my co-workers and also enjoy dealing with our customers. Just recently I was given the opportunity to be trained as a sales representative under Gary Prahl. While under Gary’s wing I realized this is where I wanted to be with the company. Thanks to the phone call I got four years ago from Chance Hardy, I have a rewarding job in giving people what they want.

Jim Lavin (Sales) - My life totally changed in the year 2000. I was working at Home Depot and the Hardy guys came in asked me if I wanted some extra work on my days off. I am glad I took them up on the offer, my first day with them I realized I wanted to make the

window business my career. Since then I married my beautiful wife Kate and we just bought our first condo in Yorba Linda. After installing my 3000th window, Chance and Gary gave me the opportunity to sell windows and doors. This is the perfect job for me, I get to talk to new people everyday and get to offer them a great product to fix up their homes. I also have a confidence about me that when my customers go with Hardy Windows I know that they will be taken care of from start to finish.
